We use only premium products to promote healthy skin and a beautiful coat, complemented by expert skills in breed-specific styling and advanced coat care. Enhance your dog’s pamper session with our luxurious spa treatments, available as add-on options to any groom. Please note that all prices are listed as “starting from”, as every dog is wonderfully unique. Final pricing is based on factors such as breed, size, coat type, condition, and temperament, with additional fees applied for matting. Please note: Dog sizing is classed as follows, Small - under 10kg (Dachshunds, Yorkshire Terrier, Chihuahua), Medium - 10kg-20kg (Spaniels, Cockapoos, Whippets), Large 20kg-30kg (Husky’s, Labs, Golden Retrivers, XL 30kg+ (Newfies, Great Danes, St Bernard’s). A 50% deposit is required upon booking, final balance paid at the salon when you collect your pup

Full Groom

For all breeds who require regular all over haircuts. A full groom at Wild Coat includes: All over body health check, 2x washes in high quality shampoo specific for your dog’s skin and coat type, hydrating conditioner to promote healthy skin and a glossy coat, blow/fluff dry, pad and hygiene trim, full body styling (hand stripping available), nail trim, ear clean, teeth gel and foam and a spritz of perfume to finish! De-shed

For double coated breeds to help manage moulting. A de-shed at Wild Coat includes: All over body health check, pre blow of undercoat to loosen, 2x washes in high quality shampoo specific for your dog’s skin and coat type, (a special de-shedding mud mask massaged into the skin and rinsed to relieve and prevent excess shedding can be added as an extra), hydrating natural conditioner to promote a glossy shine to the coat, blow dry, thorough brush through, paw pad and hygiene trim, light scissoring of furnishings if applicable, nail trim, ear clean, teeth gel and foam and a spritz of perfume to finish! Bath & Blow

For smooth haired breeds to help promote healthy skin and add shine to their coat. A bath & blow at Wild Coat includes: All over body health check, 2x washes in high quality shampoo specific for your dog’s skin and coat type, (a deep conditioning mask to promote a healthy skin barrier and add shine to the coat can be added as a extra), blow dry, nail trim, ear clean, teeth gel and foam and a spritz of perfume to finish! Express Grooms

For maintaining your dogs coat between grooms, ideal for curly coated breeds/those prone to matting easily. A express groom at Wild Coat includes: All over body health check, 2x washes in high quality shampoo specific for your dog’s skin and coat type, blow/fluff dry, a good brush and comb through, paw pad and hygiene tidy, light scissoring to face, ears and feet, nail trim, ear clean, teeth gel and foam and a spritz of perfume to finish! Puppy University

For puppies who are 12 weeks old + and fully vaccinated. Introduces your puppy to regular grooming at a relaxed pace with fun and enjoyable sessions that reinforce calm behaviour in a salon environment. My Puppy University Package includes 4 puppy introduction sessions: Session 1 – Gentle introduction to all the sights and sounds of a grooming salon. Introducing the grooming tools and equipment, such as brushes, combs, dryers and clippers. This is a fun session, with lots of play and treats so your puppy can get to know me better Session 2 – Getting your puppy used to standing on the grooming table and in the bath. If your puppy is confident, a gentle bath and blow dry will be completed in this session, as well as a face, feet and hygiene tidy if needed. Lots of treats and play breaks in between! Session 3 – Second bath and blow dry, face, feet and hygiene tidy as well as desensitisation to the clipper sounds and vibration Session 4 – If your puppy is happy with all of the above, the aim of this last session is to treat them to the full works! A relaxing bath, blow dry, and a trim up all over. Your puppy will graduate Puppy University with a personalised certificate to take home and a fresh new trim! The Puppy University course is a pre-paid course priced at £160, which is £20 cheaper than booking individual sessions. Some puppies are less confident than others, and therefore may require more sessions before they’re ready for their first haircut. My aim is to make every session as low stress and as fun as possible, so that your dog enjoys coming to see me.
Emmi-Pet Teeth Cleaning

A revolution in canine oral hygiene! Emmi-pet is non-invasive and uses ultrasonic waves to heal the gums on a cellular level, whilst reducing bacteria in the mouth and removing plaque and tartar. Emmi-Pet requires no anaesthetic and involves gentle progressive teeth cleaning over a number of sessions to achieve clean teeth and healthy gums using ultrasonic nanobubble technology. Suitable for dogs with mild to moderate plaque and tartar buildup. Free consultation required prior to treatment. Initial sessions are approx an hour (with breaks inbetween) and priced at £50. Maintenance sessions are approx 30 minutes and £35 as a stand alone appointment or these can be added onto your dogs grooms.
Spa Treatments

Leaving your pups face smelling like marshmallows or blueberries! Themed scented facials are included in our seasonal spa packages! Available as an add-on to any other service £5 ~Our first Love Potion Valentines Spa Package will be available from 23rd Jan! ~ Add this on to any groom on our booking system or on the day for £5 Immerse your pup this Valentines in a bouquet of roses during their bath and have them leave the salon smelling of powdered petals and vanilla! Using Peanut & Pickles Love Potion vegan and hypoallergenic shampoo/conditioner, they’ll receive a thorough wash in this alongside a relaxing marshmallow facial, followed by a spritz of Love Potion fragrance spray and a valentines themed backdrop photoshoot!

Appointments and Cancellations

Booking Guidelines:

Cancellation Policy I understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. With sufficient notice, this is usually not a problem, as it gives me the opportunity to fill the slot or accommodate someone from my waiting list. However, cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice can have a significant financial impact on my business. Short notice often means that I cannot offer the slot to someone else, as not everyone on my waiting list can drop everything and come at such short notice for a specific time, leaving me with an empty appointment that could have otherwise been filled. To help protect my small business from the very real, detrimental, financial impact this can have, the following policy applies:

Cancellations or Reschedules with Less Than 48 Hours’ Notice: cancellation fee of 75% of the full groom price will apply.

Cancellations or Reschedules with Less Than 24 Hours’ Notice: cancellation fee of 100% of the full groom price will apply.

This fee must be paid before you can rebook. If there is opportunity to reschedule to a available slot within that day, fees won't apply, but that cannot be promised.

No Show Policy failure to show up without notice a 100% cancellation fee will apply, and you will need to pay this fee before booking any future appointments.

I appreciate your understanding that this policy helps me maintain the sustainability of my small business while continuing to provide quality, personalised services to all of my clients. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Drop Offs & Pick Up Policies

As a one-to-one groomer, when your dog has an appointment with me, my time during that appointment is focused on your dog and your dog alone. I value that you chose my private one-to-one services and endeavour to maintain that level of service.

Late Drop Off Policy Lateness, dropping off will unfortunately eat into that private appointment time and I can’t always groom your dog fully in the time I have remaining. I may have other clients and commitments after your appointment. If you arrive late, there is the possibility, I will only have time for a partial groom, such as a bath and brush. We can discuss this on the day and it will be completely dependent on the individual dog, its requirements and the circumstances on the day, with regard to the service I can provide in the time remaining. If this is possible you will still be charged FULL GROOM price as that is the time slot originally booked and still taken. If you are more than 15 minutes late, I reserve the right to cancel the appointment as I don’t want to pass this delay on to my other clients. I hope you understand, and would expect the same, if you were the next client unfairly affected by the delay. In this instance you will be charged my late cancellation fee which is 75% of full groom price, in order to protect my business from the negative financial impact that unnecessary empty appointment slots have. This fee must be paid before you can rebook.
Late Collection Policy Please collect your dog at the agreed time. Please keep your phone switched on and close by whilst your dog is being groomed, as I will send you messages with updates of how your dog is doing, and a ETA of finishing time throughout the groom. So there is no reason to collect late. All of my clients deserve the private one-to-one service I offer. Dogs still present from the previous appointment can be distressing to other dogs, distracting, meaning I can’t start the next dog’s groom, or in some cases dangerous as not all dogs are social. This is unfair to my other clients. I will contact you if you are 10 minutes late, if no answer, I will ring your emergency contact.

Health & Saftey Policies

Vaccination Policy As a groomer I uphold my responsibility to provide a hygienic and sanitary environment for your dog. Every effort is made to clean and sterilise equipment and surfaces between dogs. Any dogs showing signs of illness will be sent home immediately and the salon sanitised. However, as not all conditions are symptomatic, it remains the owner’s responsibility to protect their dog in all public environments; from the grooming salon to the park, by vaccinating their dog. All puppies must have received their full vaccinations before attending a grooming environment. Ideally book your puppy’s first groom for 1 week after their last vaccination. (Around 12-13 weeks of age). All dogs recently adopted from Rescue centres must be fully vaccinated before attending a grooming salon. Please do not book a newly adopted rescue dog in for a groom, until he’s been in your care for a minimum of 3 weeks.It is an owner’s responsibility to keep their dog’s vaccinations up to date. Any illnesses contracted due to failure to do this are entirely the owner’s responsibility.

Flea & Tick Policy If you discover fleas on your dog at home, please contact me as soon as possible to discuss our options and do not bring them to their appointment. If fleas are discovered during an appointment, I reserve the right to send the dog home immediately to avoid further risk of contaminating the salon. Please always be contactable during your dog’s appointment for occurrences such as this or medical emergencies. As you can imagine, fleas in a grooming salon environment are taken seriously as I cannot risk the spread to other dogs. My salon must be a safe flea-free zone for all owners and dogs. This is something I take very seriously. Therefore, if fleas are discovered you will be charged your full groom price plus £20 to cover the cost of flea bombing and deep cleaning the salon. It is an owner’s responsibility to ensure their dog is up to date with their choice of flea prevention treatment. Please read my “Flea Facts Sheet” to help with eradicating the fleas from your home and further measures you may wish to take.

Senior/Special Needs Dog Policy Grooming services for senior and special needs dogs may be modified to reduce stress and physical strain. Modifications may include: Shorter grooming sessions or multiple visits, Comfort breaks as needed, Gentle handling and slower pace, Modified grooming styles or partial grooms, Use of support equipment (e.g., harnesses, non-slip mats), Cosmetic results may be secondary to the dog’s comfort and safety. Wild Coat reserves the right to stop or modify grooming services at any time if the dog shows signs of distress, pain, or medical concern. Partial or full grooming fees may still apply in these situations, depending how far along in the groom we are.

Behaviour & Handling Policies

Aggressive Dog Policy At Wild Coat, the safety and wellbeing of both the dogs in our care is our top priority. We kindly ask that all pet owners are open and honest about their dogs behaviour, especially if your dog has shown signs of aggression or stress during previous grooming sessions — whether with us or elsewhere. Full transparency helps us create the safest and most positive grooming experience possible. Please note: We reserve the right to refuse grooming services to any dog displaying aggressive behaviour. If a dog shows signs of excessive stress or aggression during the grooming session, we may stop the groom immediately in the best interest of the dog and me as your groomer. In such cases, you will be contacted, and a partial / full grooming fee may still apply depending on the time and work completed. Aggression can include, but is not limited to: growling, snapping, biting, lunging, or extreme resistance to handling. By booking an appointment with us, you agree to inform us of any behavioural concerns and understand that the groomer’s judgment on a dog’s suitability for grooming is final.

Sedation Policy We do not accept sedated dogs unless prescribed and supervised by a vet.

Toilet Break Policy Please ensure your dogs have had a toilet break before arrival. I personally recommend a 20 minute walk for all dogs except the elderly to ensure the dog has had adequate time to relieve himself, but isn't so exhausted, he’s falling asleep on the table.

Owner Responsibility & Liabilities

Pre Existing Conditions We ask you as owner to disclose any medical issues or sensitivities that could be affected by grooming. This includes one off occurrences such as recent surgery, dental work at the vets, recent sickness or changes in behaviour. We will also keep owners up to date of any new lumps, bumps or issues that you notice during the grooming process and inform the owner either immediately or at collection, depending on the suspected urgency of the discovery. Please note it is only in our remit to make you aware of such discoveries, not treat them as that is a vets job only.

Emergency Vet Authorisation By signing this agreement, the pet owner grants permission for [Grooming Business Name] to seek emergency veterinary care for their dog should the need arise while the dog is under our care. This includes but is not limited to situations where the dog may experience health issues, injury, or sudden illness during the grooming process. In all such cases, Wild Coat will make every effort to contact the pet owner immediately. If the owner cannot be reached, or if immediate care is required, the grooming facility is authorised to proceed with obtaining veterinary care.

Pricing & Payment Policies

Pricing Guidelines/ Additional Charges We do occasionally groom dogs who require more time than is usual for their appointment, due to behaviour, coat condition or other factors.This obviously affects the salon schedule and work/time needed to complete the groom. Therefore, this additional time will be charged at a rate of £10 per additional 15 minutes. Although rare, we will be fully transparent if this situation occurs & we will be happy to discuss a plan of action to avoid this happening in the future.
Deposits We require a 50% deposit upon booking. The remaining cost of the groom is paid for upon collection after the groom is complete. Please note the final total can be impacted by the factors stated within these terms and conditions.
Payment Methods We accept card and cash payments upon final payment for the groom at the salon, not for deposits. Deposits are carried out via online payment only.
Refund Policies Dog grooming is a service, therefore refunds are not typically given, if ever it is under Wild Coats discretion only.

Photography & Social Media

Consent for photos During grooming appointments, Wild Coat may take photographs or videos of dogs before, during, or after grooming. These images may showcase grooming results, techniques, or general salon activity. Photographs will focus on the dog only. No identifying personal information about the pet owner will be shared without explicit permission. By accepting these terms and conditions, the pet owner grants Wild Coat Dog Grooming permission to use photographs and/or videos of their dog for the following purposes:

Social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), Website content, Advertising and promotional materials, Educational or informational content related to grooming services.

Under the terms outlined in The Data Protection Act of 2018, I am obliged by UK law to keep the information disclosed here confidential at all times. Your data will be stored securely and not accessed by anyone other than me, Ebony Donovan, the business owner of Wild Coat Dog Grooming.
